To ensure that everyone feels comfortable here, can express their creativity, and can communicate safely, the following rules apply to all members. By using the community features, you agree to these guidelines.

1. Principles of Interaction

Respect and Tolerance: We maintain a polite and respectful tone.
Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: Any form of hate speech, discrimination, bullying, insults, or personal attacks will result in immediate and permanent exclusion from the community.

2. Rules for the Jury (Reviews & Criticism)

Genre Focus: Jury members should preferably evaluate works from genres with which they are well-versed.
Objectivity and Constructiveness: Criticism should be factual, fair, and well-reasoned. Shortcomings may and should be pointed out—but always in a way that serves as an incentive for the author to improve.
Golden Rule: Comments that discourage the author or demotivate them will not be tolerated. We want to build each other up, not tear each other down.

3. Participation in Book Clubs

Feedback Requirement: Anyone who participates in a book club agrees to submit feedback or a review within 14 days of the club’s conclusion.
Consequences for Failure to Comply: If this deadline is not met without a valid reason, the participant will be excluded from future book clubs.
Force majeure: Exceptions will, of course, be made in the event of unforeseeable circumstances such as illness or accidents. In such cases, please send us a brief message as soon as possible.

4. Direct Contact with Authors

Every member has the opportunity to contact authors directly to discuss their works.
Even in private chats, members are required to treat one another with the utmost respect. Harassment or inappropriate behavior will be sanctioned upon reporting.

5. Translators’ Area

Exclusive Platform Management: There is a dedicated area for collaboration between authors and translators. Translators can apply here, and authors can search specifically for assistance.
Payment and Contract Requirements: All formalities, contracts, and payment transactions must be handled exclusively through our platform in accordance with our terms and conditions. Bypassing the platform for business purposes is prohibited.

6. Protection of Ideas and Copyright
Idea theft is prohibited: Texts, drafts, plot ideas, or concepts discussed within the community (e.g., in forums or book clubs) may not be used by other authors or readers for their own purposes.
Copyright Is a Top Priority: Every individual’s intellectual property is inviolable. Violations of copyright law will be prosecuted and result in immediate expulsion.
