Escape Plus FAQ

What is Escape Plus?

Escape Plus is a paid subscription that gives you access to exclusive content from Escape Readz.

These include:

  • Access to all available books
  • Short stories and alternative story versions
  • Access to the VIP area, including:
    • Preliminary chapters
    • Interviews with characters
  • Access to the magazine Viento Libre
  • Participation in the Community (discussion, feedback, suggestions)
How can I book Escape Plus?

Bookings can be made via the “Escape Plus” section:

  1. Select from:
    • Monthly subscription or
    • Try it
  2. Redirect to the booking page
  3. Display of the next billing date before completion

By completing the booking, you are entering into a paid subscription

Term, renewal & termination
  • The subscription runs for 4 weeks
  • It is extended automatically for a further 4 weeks at a time, unless notice of termination is given
  • The trial subscription does not renew automatically (duration: 3 days)
Termination
  • You can cancel at any time
  • The notice of termination takes effect at the end of the current term
  • If the subscription is not cancelled before the renewal date, it will be automatically renewed
Memories

Before each renewal, you will receive:

  • an email two days in advance
  • an email one day in advance
Goodwill policy in the event of late notice
  • In exceptional cases, a cancellation up to 24 hours after renewal may be accepted
  • In this case, a refund may be issued

👉 Important:

  • This is done on a voluntary basis and without any legal entitlement
  • Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis
  • If misuse is suspected, a refund may be refused
Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

By taking out a subscription, you agree that:

  • the service starts immediately
  • Your statutory right of withdrawal under Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB) expires
Therefore, the following applies:
  • Refunds are generally not permitted

👉 Exception:

  • In individual cases, a refund may be issued as a gesture of goodwill
  • There is no entitlement to such a refund
Using the e-reader
  • Content is available via the platform and organised into series
  • By clicking on the book icon the built-in reader opens
