5. Customer Account
When you open a customer account, we process personal data in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, insofar as this is necessary for the performance of the contract.
You may delete your customer account at any time. Once the account has been deleted, the data will be erased, provided there are no legal obligations to retain it.

6. Data processing for order fulfilment
6.1 We process personal data for the purpose of fulfilling orders in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
6.2 Payment service providers
Depending on the country and the chosen payment method, payment processing is carried out via the following payment service providers:

Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland
Mollie B.V., Netherlands
The aforementioned payment service providers process personal data as independent controllers within the meaning of the GDPR.
This data processing is governed exclusively by the respective privacy policies of the payment service providers. Escape Readz Publishing Köhler GbR is not responsible for this processing.

7. Merchandise (Spreadshirt)
The production and dispatch of merchandise items are handled by Spreadshirt. Personal data is processed by Spreadshirt as the independent data controller.

8. Rights of data subjects
You are entitled to the statutory rights of data subjects under Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, as well as the right to lodge a complaint under Article 77 of the GDPR.

9. Duration of storage
The period for which personal data is stored depends on the relevant legal basis, the purpose of the processing and statutory retention periods. Once the purpose no longer applies, the data will be deleted, provided there are no legal obligations to the contrary.
